Abdoulaye Fall Wins Chaotic Senegal FA Election amid Election Corruption Claims

August 4-Abdoulaye Fall will be successful for Augustin Senghor as the Faculty president of the Sénégalaise De (FSF) football after a chaotic election which includes the suspension of the police process and intervention.

With the ‘Control Pass’ program, Fall won the majority in the first round (301 votes) against Mady Touré (116), despite the lack of two -thirds of the majority to win the president in the first round. With only 92 votes, Senghor withdrew from the second round of the voting, condemning the practice of questioning.

On social media, the photo shows how the election descended into chaos with local police intervention. Autumn won the second round of the election with 321 votes against 30 for Mady Touré, with more than 100 voters who met the requirements of abstain in the second vote.

56 aged, autumn has long served as a member of the FSF Executive Committee. He also touched the local club Bambey FC, who played at the second level of Senegal. His election ended the Senghor government which had lasted a long time ago in 2009.

Fall said: “Let’s build a stronger, more just, and more ambitious football around the ‘pass control’.”

Opponently Fall’s Touré accused him of committing corruption and asking the court for interference. “In 2013 and 2021, I was a candidate, but no one listened to me,” he told local media. “What happened today is corruption. I see it, and so does my team. There is corruption in the Abdoulaye Fall camp, and I will not continue the election.”

“What happened today is a disgrace to our country and does not bring honor to Senegal. The election ends when it starts.”

“Justice must be governed and the state must bear all its responsibilities,” he added.
