Justin Tucker Timeline: The event that led to the release of Ravens Kicker

The Ravens released the old Kicker Justin Tucker on Monday, ending his term of office with a franchise after 13 seasons. The decision arose after Tucker was accused of committing sexual violations by more than a dozen massage therapist in the Baltimore area and in the middle of the NFL investigation of the accusation. The accusations talked about offseason, detailed the alleged inappropriate Tucker actions from 2012 to 2016. On the field, the 2024 season Tucker was also the worst of his famous career, because he missed the eight goals of the highest career field.

This is the time line how we came to the release on Monday:

January 19: The Ravens season ends

The Ravens’ 2024-25 season ended with a broken heart, because they fell to the bill with only two points in the AFC division round. Tucker is perfect in loss, making both efforts to go to field destinations and one of the additional points.

However, the old kicker season is the worst of his professional career. He made only 73.3% of his field goals, one time in his career, he made less than 80% of his kick in one season. Tucker also missed a pair of additional points, giving him 10 kicks that were missed this season.

January 22: Ravens Back Tucker at the News Conference

Kuningan Baltimore suggested that they still have confidence in Tucker after a mediocre season during the end of the season press conference.

“We will do the discussion, but I think I have every hope that Justin will be a great kicker for us next year and move forward,” said General Manager Ravens Eric Decosta.

Coach John Harbaugh echoed the statement. It is hoped that Baltimore will remain with Tucker for the future soon in its efforts to win the Super Bowl.

January 30: Allegations of sexual violations come out

Baltimore banner detailed allegations of sexual violations against Tucker from the local massage therapist. The accusation quoting Tucker’s behavior from 2012 to 2016, during the early part of his career with Ravens.

Tucker denied the accusation, which revolved from him exposed him during the massage to leave ejaculation on the massage table.

“The accusation in the Baltimore Banner article about me is really wrong,” Tucker wrote in a statement posted on social media.

Tucker has not been charged with any crime, nor does it become the subject of a civil lawsuit related to the accusation.

February 2: More accusations collected against Tucker

Allegations of Tucker piled up on days after the initial report. Through February 2, Tucker faced nine inappropriate sexual behavior accusations from massage therapists. The accusation, one of them is detailed with the Baltimore sun, matches the same description as the first accusation.

“He is an erection,” an anonymous massage therapist explains to the previous massage sun that he gave to Tucker. “He lay face down, and his hand grabbed my inner thighs.”

The therapist said he ended the massage session after the alleged touch of inappropriate by Tucker.

February 12: Massage Therapist Overcoming Industrial Stigma

The sun reported how massage therapists react to accusations against Tucker. Some industrial professionals talk about negative sexual stigma that are sometimes associated with massage therapy.

“Massage therapist is a dedicated health professional who upholds the high ethical, training and client maintenance standards,” American Massage Therapy Association said in a statement to Baltimore Sun. “Their role in promoting health and welfare should not be overshadowed by individual violations that violate professional boundaries.”

February 16: Additional Allegations of Tucker

The number of accusations against Tucker grew to 16, according to the Baltimore Banner report. All accusations were quoted as occurred between 2012 and 2016 in the Baltimore region.

February 26: NFL Investigators are in Baltimore

Baltimore Sun reported that NFL investigators in Baltimore spoke with several Tucker accuses. It is unclear what the penalty might face that Tucker might have faced from the league because of his alleged behavior.

On the same day, Tucker and his wife, Amanda, quoted in an article from Outkick about the accusation. That was the first, and one -only, when Amanda Tucker had openly talked about accusations against her husband.

“False accusations against Justin have caused so much pain for our family. I believe my husband, and I love and support it fully,” Amanda Tucker said in a statement to Outkick.

March 30: Team President Speaking

President Ravens Sashi Brown discussed the accusation of Tucker at the annual NFL owner meeting, including sharing broad support for women who spoke against sexual violations.

“The nature of the accusation that we consider is very serious,” Brown said at the end of March. “This investigation does take time.

“It is never satisfying for anyone involved, maybe including Justin and of course the people who make the accusations are very public. But this is a problem generally as a community in terms of women who make claims that require a lot of courage and courage, and frankly as a society, we have not become too long.”

April 1: NFL will not offer investigations

At the Annual League meeting, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell explained that no periodic updates would be given publicly about the investigation of Tucker.

“I know the review is ongoing,” Goodell said. “We will not give an update, but when we have something, we will definitely share something with you.”

April 26: Ravens Draft Kicker

Baltimore arranged Arizona’s Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. Loop, who made a 62-anyth kick throughout his career in 2024, was seen as one of the top tertiary institutions available in the draft. Loop made 18 out of 23 goals from his field last season, including going 6-for-9 from outside 50 yard. Tucker missed five of his 11 kicks from outside 50 Yard last season.

May 4: Harbaugh Tucker’s future address

After Minicamp Rookie Ravens, Harbaugh suggested that any decision related to Tucker would only focus on his ability as a kicker. Baltimore coach, who has a close relationship with Tucker during the Kicker period with a franchise, talks about the uncertainty of the ongoing NFL investigation of Tucker.

“From the point of view of the investigation, we don’t know anything,” said Harbaugh. “So, you cannot make decisions based on that. Every decision we make must be based on football. There are many layers for that.”

He then praised praise to the beginner kicker, Loop.

“The ball out of his feet is impressive,” Harbaugh said.

May 5: Release Ravens Tucker

A day later, Baltimore announced that he had released Tucker.

“Sometimes football decisions are very difficult, and this is one example. Considering our current list, we have made a difficult decision to release Justin Tucker,” Decosta said in a statement.

Baltimore did not mention the accusation of Tucker in his statement about the release of Kicker. The NFL investigation of Tucker is ongoing.
