Pitcher Angels entered the match shouting with Red Sox coach

BOSTON – Pitcher Los Angeles Angels Tyler Anderson entered the match screaming with the first Red Sox Base coach José Flores on the field at Fenway Park before the match on Wednesday. No team will discuss about what it is.

A video posted on social media shows Anderson and Flores directly during hitting exercises. Pitching Angels coach Barry Enright also joined the argument before the Red Sox Hudson’s third base coach entered and tried to break him up.

Flores served as the third base coach and the middle coach in Orioles in 2019 and 2020.

The video also shows Red Sox manager Alex Cora spoke calmly with Anderson, who gave up five times running in 4 1/3 inning against Boston on Monday night.

Asked about what brouhaha, Cora said, “Only baseball conversation. The disagreement that occurred during the series, but everything was fine.” He refused to break down.

Angels did not make Anderson or Enright available to reporters after the match, which Boston won 11-9, referred questions to manager Ron Washington. Washington also will not discuss specifically.

Nesn, who broadcasts the Red Sox game, deletes the video of the incident from Twitter shortly after being posted.

“We are committed to covering our team in a way that shows the full picture. Because the social post does not have audio, we make a decision to delete it from our feeds and prioritize discussions about it during our pregame event and broadcast in the game,” Nesn spokesman said in a statement. “Our team not only talks about what happened but also involved and why that happens, provides clarity and context that we feel important.”
