Alejandro Garnacho might go to ‘Jadon Sancho Way’

Alejandro Garnacho is still a very young man. At the age of 21, Garnacho had spent three full seasons with Manchester United. As an United Academy product, The Argentina should ideally go to a long time in Old Trafford, but it is not possible, given the current situation.

Chelsea have expressed active interest in Garnacho and the club also pondered SWAP agreements with Manchester United involving Argentina and Nicolas Jackson. Until now, Garnacho has not practiced with other United team members, who are not ideal scenarios for young players.

Garnacho, who has scored 26 goals in 144 matches for the Red Devils so far, has a bright future in front of him. However, considering the 3-4-2-1 formation Ruben Amorim prefers the Manchester United team to play, Garnacho’s chance to play for the team remains slim.

Argentine players are more comfortable playing as left-wing players in 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-3. Lack of defensive sharpness means that he cannot play as a left wing back in 3-4-2-1. He has been tried as No. 10 in 3-4-2-1 at United, but his inability to adjust himself quite well in the central role, which requires him to play short bait more often, has made him rather excessive.

In any way it does not mean that Garnacho cannot change his play style to play with people like Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. However, the signing of Cunha and Mbeumo means that there is no emptiness in United’s current attack to be filled by Garnacho.

Chelsea also binds a number of attackers

Royal Blues have tied Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, both of them can play as left winger. Not to mention they already have Mykhailo Mudryk in their squad. Therefore, Garnacho signed to Chelsea not ensuring the place in the starting XI for him.

However, if the Argentine players have decided to follow the road of Marcus Rashford and Sancho from United, he might not be stopped. He is not suitable enough in the scheme of things for Amorim and it seems difficult that things will change for the better in the near future.

Therefore, it still needs to be seen whether Alejandro Garnacho remains in the club next season.
