Bloodbath at Bethpage continues when the US is lagging further
Keegan Bradley stuck to his weapon on Saturday morning and now Americans are in a big problem in the Ryder Cup.
Captain Team USA ran back two couples who were very unsuccessful in the four sessions Saturday (alternative shot).
Collin Morikawa and Harris English are dominated for the second day in a row by Rory Mcilroy and Tommy Fleetwood – 3 & 2, joining Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley – who fell to Robert Macintyre and Viktor Hov Land (1 Up) ISLUAGE on Pulau Panjang 8.
Bradley states that it is important to stick to this strategy even though how bad it looks on day 1.
“They beat us today, but you know, we are really comfortable with our plans,” Bradley said after a Friday disaster. “We are very comfortable with the two players [Morikawa and English]. Excited who they play tomorrow.
“[Should] Be a fun match, and we hold fast to our plan. We will not panic. We will not panic and make such mistakes. We will hold on to what we know. We have a lot of trust in them. “
The time to panic seems now.
Europeans took three of four matches in the morning. Jon Rahm held an absolute clinic with Tyrrell Hatton to defeat Bradley’s victory duo on Friday at Xander Schaauffele and Patrick Cantlay.
One point held by the US team on the Saturday morning board came from Bryson Dechambeau and New York Cameron Young’s natives. Young and Dechambeau are arguably the two best American players so far this weekend.
It looks none of the description is Scheffler.
World No. 1 has lost every match so far 0-3-0 serves easily the biggest surprise of the tournament when he came to the Ryder Cup as the best player who was undeniable in golf. When you take into account the Scheffler record this weekend, the scoreboard makes sense.
With Europe 5.5 points from maintaining cups, it seems that there is no slowing down them.
Mcilroy has lived according to the bill because the Masters 2025 champions have answered calls with every big shot, leaving 2-0-1 in the match. However, the most successful Europeans are Fleetwood and Jon Rahm. This couple is the only player who plays in every session and wins everything.
Although there are some that stand out for Europe, simply, they poured all the necessary putt while the Americans had burned the edge of the cup, could not get anything to be dropped when they needed it most.
Now, in the afternoon session, despair for Bradley.
Americans need to take three – at least – from the four ball session to enter a single match on Sunday which has any prayer to avoid dropping the Ryder Cup in their home land.
