European League Women are officially launched as Voice Unified for Pro Games

“The formation of a women’s European League platform is a historical day for women’s football in Europe,” Mchyntyre said.

“The role of the league in advancing women’s football cannot be monitored, and this new platform will allow the league to work collectively and collaboratively with the main stakeholders in all games to advance our shared goals for the development of women’s football in Europe.”

The European League (WED) says aims to facilitate collective collaboration, and coordinated representation at the continent level.

“This platform will foster knowledge sharing, develop collective business opportunities, and act as leading representative bodies in all things that are interesting for the member league,” the press statement said.

For this reason, the launch was also attended by representatives of European main institutional stakeholders from national associations, players and clubs.
