How Ravens Backup QB Cooper Rush Factor to Super Bowl Chase | COMMENT
NFL reserve quarterback life must be one of the biggest jobs in America.
They enter TV consistently, usually wearing a baseball cap back. They eat good food and live in luxury hotels. They exercise every day and their bodies are not destroyed every Sunday as the beginning.
This must defeat digging the trench or moving furniture to make a living.
“You don’t have to be Superman, you just played soccer, bringing the ball to Fast Guys, and it’s a kind of mentality,” said Raveper Rush’s Raveper Rush Reserve Quarterback. “You have to trust people around you, and believe me, there are many fast people here.”
Ravens signed Rush, 31, for a two -year contract in March worth $ 6.2 million, which could increase as high as $ 12.2 million. Without a question, he is one of the best reserves in team history, of course one of the most established without apologies to former predecessors such as Tyler Hunted, Tyrod Taylor, Anthony Wright, Chris Redman and Eric Zieier.

Rush will not compare Jackson and Prescott. In the field, they are similar in many ways. In nine years in Dallas, Prescott, 32, has been thrown for 31,437 yard with 213 goals and 82 interseps.
Entering his eighth season in Baltimore at the age of 28, Jackson was thrown for 20,059 yard with 166 goals and 49 interseps. Jackson has a career passing ranking 102.0.
There are other similarities that do not want to be discussed. Prescott 2-5 in postseason, while Jackson 3-5. Whatever, both are extreme competitors.
“Yes, I am together for a long time so it is clear that we both feel comfortable there,” Rush said. “I studied the proposal from afar but now we are in the same room. “Knowing Lamar, obviously, this has been a long time. I hope to know Lamar all season.”
Rush will return to facing Cowboys on August 16 in the preseason match No. 2, but the hopes are different in each city. Dallas has the first year coach at Brian Schottenheimer, and Cowboys came from the 7-10 season, losing a playoff for the first time since 2020.
The Ravens is a pre -season favorite to win the Super Bowl title. If Jackson fell with a serious injury, it would be difficult to duplicate Jackson’s success in the past. But if Jackson was injured and came out for only a few matches, Ravens thought they had an answer on Rush, the perfect “Stop Gap” quarterback.
Rush fought in spring but looks better at the beginning of the training camp. This is all about studying new coordinators, systems and recipients.
“I think I adjust quickly in spring. I got a lot of repetition with a starter, which is very big for me to dive and get a better understanding,” Rush said. “It takes a moment, but the more you watch, even with the work of working with them, you watch how the people run, how they want to be open from their rest and you try to get as much information as possible when you are out there with them.
