Jamal Musiala to receive shirt number 10 icon Bayern Munich
After the departure of Leroy Sané to Galatasaray, where his contract began at the beginning of the month, Bayern Munich had announced that Jamal Musiala would take number 10 Sané icons, effectively on the preseason, after the FIFA Club World Cup.
For anyone who knows football, it is clear how a great honor that is now awarded to Musiala, by giving him the most prestigious number in this sport, especially at the age of 22 years, and in one of the greatest clubs in the world.
However, there is no doubt that the young playmaker deserves trust and the importance is given to him. Together with striker Harry Kane, he is arguably an irreplaceable player in Bayern.
Musiala has played more than 200 competitive matches for Bavarians’ first team. Despite being one of the most sought after players in world football, he chose to extend his residence in Munich and sign a contract until 2030.
This shows that clubs and players are fully committed to each other, and their future together must promise. Musiala is of course good enough to make the Bayern team in the future built around him.
The financial tug of war behind Bayern Munich’s ambitions
The only question is, how the team will be seen, given that the new Sporting Max Eberl CEO -this is once again emphasizing that the instructions to him from above are that he must save as much money as possible.
Of course there is nothing wrong with saving money; In fact, this approach has gained Bavarians in their place now. They are clubs that can boast of their financial health in a way that can be done by several other people.
However, at the same time, Bayern Munich wants to have a cake and eat it also on this topic. In other words, they want to save money and somehow, at the same time, renew and refresh the squad as well.

Building around Jamal Musiala will not be cheap
Considering Bayern Munich is an ambitious club, refreshing troops to the level they need is quite expensive.
The potential problem that might occur in the future that is not too far away is that building a new squad around Musiala and several other players will definitely require money. This may be the money that Bayern are not ready to spend.
To keep the Musiala, Joshua Kimmich and other pillars of the happy squad, there must be realistic incentives and hopes to win the title, especially the UEFA Champions League.
It also spends a lot of money. Good or bad, Bayern do not have an endless cash supply.
As a result of the 50% +1 Bundesliga rules, Bavarians cannot have a majority billionaire owner, such as people like Manchester City, Newcastle United, or PSG DO.
Therefore they must continue to make financially solid decisions, while at the same time it also damages the bank from time to time, as they did with the transfer of Kane two last summer.
Last thought
This is of course a difficult act of balancing, but there are not some large financial game reforms, that is one that they must continue to do.
For now, they can take the time to celebrate romanticism behind Musiala to number 10 next club.
